Ethan Brown Closes Debut ADAC GT Masters Season with Top-10 Finish at Hockenheim

Hockenheim, Germany - Singapore racing driver Ethan Brown concluded his debut ADAC GT Masters season with another solid performance at the iconic Hockenheimring, securing ninth and twelfth place finishes in the final round of the 2026 championship.

The season finale took place alongside the final round of DTM, attracting an impressive 112,000 spectators across the weekend. The huge crowds, packed grandstands and electric atmosphere provided a fitting backdrop to Brown’s first full season competing in European GT3 racing.

Driving the #19 Lamborghini Huracán GT3 EVO2 for LIQUI MOLY Team Engstler alongside teammate Tim Hutter, Brown faced particularly challenging conditions throughout the weekend. Changing weather brought a mixture of wet and dry running during practice and qualifying, marking the first time Brown had driven a GT3 car in the rain. With limited experience in these conditions, the weekend presented another important learning opportunity for the young Singaporean.

Brown took responsibility for the opening qualifying session, delivering a strong performance in tricky conditions to secure ninth position on the grid for Race 1. He and Hutter converted that starting position into a ninth-place finish, earning another valuable Top 10 result. The pair followed this with a eleventh-place finish in Race 2, bringing their 2026 campaign to a close.

Reflecting on the weekend, Brown highlighted the valuable experience gained from adapting to rapidly changing track conditions.

"This was my first time driving a GT3 car in the rain, so there was a huge amount to learn. As the track started drying, understanding where the grip was, adapting my driving lines and adjusting the ABS settings to suit the changing conditions was a really valuable experience. These are things you can only properly learn by being out on track, and I know this experience will help me a lot in the future. To finish the season racing in front of over 100,000 fans at Hockenheim was also pretty special." said Brown.

The Hockenheim weekend brought to a close an important foundation year for Brown, who stepped up to the highly competitive ADAC GT Masters championship in 2026 as the first Singaporean to contest a full season. Racing against some of Europe's most promising GT talents, Brown has spent the year adapting to a new car, unfamiliar circuits, different tyre characteristics and the demands of GT3 competition.

With six rounds of valuable experience now behind him, Brown will look to build on the progress made throughout 2026 as he prepares for the next chapter of his European GT racing career. The lessons learned this season provide a strong foundation as he works towards challenging for stronger qualifying positions, podiums and race victories in 2027.
