The weekend marked yet another new challenge for Brown, who arrived at Lausitzring with no prior racing experience at the venue. Known for its unusual combination of a high-speed oval and technical infield section, the circuit presents a distinctive test unlike any other on the GT Masters calendar.

At 18 years old, Ethan Brown had to step away from the thing he had spent most of his life chasing.

While his peers around the world continued racing, the Singaporean put his career on hold for National Service (NS).

“Like everyone else, I had a duty to fulfil, so I decided to do it as early as possible to get it out of the way to keep racing,” he said to MS News.

Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, Spain - Singaporean racing driver Ethan Brown delivered an impressive performance in his European debut at Round 5 of the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe held at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya over the weekend. Competing in a highly competitive 33-car grid, Brown and his co-driver Elias De La Torre claimed 4th place in Race 1 before stepping onto the podium with a 3rd place finish in Race 2.

The battle for the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe Pro title will go down to the wire next month at the Lamborghini World Finals after VSR’s Adam Putera and Paul Levet claimed both victories at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya. Meanwhile, one title was already decided in Spain, as Georgi Dimitrov and Stéphan Guerin (CMR) were crowned Pro-Am champions with a round to spare.

The 2025 Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe season enters its closing stages this weekend with the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya hosting a pair of 50-minute races which could prove pivotal in determining the outcome of the four class title battles.

In the eight races held so far this year, a total of six different crews have stood on the top step of the Pro podium, in what is proving to be one of the most competitive seasons in recent editions. Just 20 points cover the top five in the driver standings with 64 points on offer across the final two weekends.
