From Singapore to Europe: Racer Ethan Brown Takes on the ADAC GT Masters
Singapore – Emerging Singapore racing talent Ethan Brown will step up to one of Europe’s premier GT3 championships in 2026, confirming his entry into the ADAC GT Masters with Engstler Motorsport and becoming the first Singaporean driver to contest the championship.
Brown’s move to Europe has been made possible in large part by the significant support of Marina Bay Sands, whose backing has played a pivotal role in enabling the young Singaporean to pursue international competition.
“I’m extremely grateful for the professional support of Marina Bay Sands. Their belief in my journey means a great deal to me. To represent Singapore at this level and have such an iconic brand standing behind me motivates me even more to succeed and continue building my career.”
The highly competitive GT3 series serves as a key support category to the renowned DTM Championship, placing Brown on one of the biggest stages in European motorsport. Sharing the paddock with elite teams, drivers and manufacturers, the GT Masters provides significant international exposure and a crucial development pathway for emerging talent.
Brown will pilot the #19 Engstler Motorsport Lamborghini Huracán GT3 EVO2, contesting rounds across Austria, Germany and The Netherlands. The 2026 season will mark his first full campaign in the championship and introduce a calendar of new circuits, offering a year of steep learning and growth.
The move continues Brown’s rise through the GT ranks following an impressive 2025 season, where he finished second in Super Trofeo Asia and earned selection to the Lamborghini Young Driver Programme during his rookie year.
“I’m incredibly excited to be joining ADAC GT Masters with Engstler Motorsport,” said Brown. “They have vast experience in the series and a proven track record of developing drivers. To compete in the DTM paddock, surrounded by some of the best teams, drivers and management in the world, gives me valuable visibility and an amazing learning environment. It’s a big step forward in my career and I’m ready to embrace the challenge.”
Engstler Motorsport Team Manager Laura Weigmann welcomed the young Singaporean to the team.
“We are delighted to have Ethan onboard for the 2026 ADAC GT Masters season,” said Weigmann. “His progression has been impressive, particularly finishing second in Super Trofeo Asia and being selected for the Lamborghini Young Driver Programme during his rookie season. That demonstrates the potential he has. We believe this championship will be an important step in his continued development.”
