ROUND 1 REPORT - SYDNEY

Singapore’s Ethan Brown Opens Super Trofeo Asia Season with Podium at Sydney Motorsport Park

Sydney, Australia – Singaporean racing driver Ethan Brown and his co-driver Hampus Ericsson kicked off their 2025 Lamborghini Super Trofeo Asia campaign with a strong showing at Sydney Motorsport Park, securing an impressive 2nd place finish in Race 1 and a solid 4th place in class for Race 2 during the season-opening round.

In their debut outing as co-drivers, Brown and Ericsson showcased strong synergy in the #27 Lamborghini Huracán Super Trofeo EVO2, managing their stints with precision, executing a clean driver change, and maintaining competitive race pace throughout. Their ability to adapt to evolving track conditions and manage tire wear proved key to their consistent performance across the weekend. Race 1 saw the duo stay firmly in podium contention from the opening laps, executing a clean pit stop and maintaining strong pace to finish 2nd. In Race 2, they fought through close competition to secure valuable points with a 4th-place result in class.

“To kick off the season with a podium feels incredible,” said Brown. “Hampus and I worked really well together, and our team Leipert Motorsport gave us a great car. The competition is strong, and I’m excited to be representing Singapore in the series.”

The results place Brown in a strong position in the early championship standings as the Super Trofeo Asia series prepares for Round 2 at Shanghai International Circuit in China from 16 -18 May.

The Lamborghini Super Trofeo Asia championship brings together elite drivers from across the region and beyond, all competing in identical Huracán Super Trofeo EVO2 machines—divided into different categories based on driver experience. The championship is held in three continental series (Europe, Asia, and North America) and culminates in a World Final, where the overall champions are crowned.

With their promising debut, Brown has firmly established himself as a challenger to watch in the 2025 season.
