Ethan Brown Continues GT3 Learning Journey at Iconic Nürburgring

Nürburgring, Germany - Singapore racing driver Ethan Brown continued his debut ADAC GT Masters campaign last weekend at the legendary Nürburgring, tackling another new circuit as he competed at one of the world's most iconic motorsport venues for the very first time.

Competing in Round 4 of the championship with Engstler Motorsport, Brown faced another steep learning curve on the demanding Grand Prix circuit. Against one of Europe's most competitive GT3 fields, the 21-year-old continued to build experience in his first season of GT3 racing, finishing 15th in Race 1 before crossing the line 16th in Race 2.

While the results did not fully reflect the progress being made, Brown and the Engstler Motorsport team worked tirelessly throughout the weekend to refine the setup of the Lamborghini Huracán GT3 EVO2. It's special to finally race at the Nürburgring," Brown said. "It's one of those circuits that every driver dreams of racing at, so to be able to compete here in GT Masters is something I'll always remember. At the same time, it's frustrating because I know there's more pace in both the car and me than the results show. In GT Masters you're constantly searching for tenths of a second, and when the field is so close those tiny gains can mean the difference between fighting inside the top ten or starting much further back. We worked hard all weekend on the setup, kept making small improvements every session and I felt we moved in the right direction. There's still work to do, but that's all part of the process and I'm determined to keep pushing until we unlock the performance we know is there,

The Nürburgring weekend formed part of the renowned International Truck Grand Prix, creating a unique festival atmosphere that attracted more than 135,000 spectators across the three-day event. Away from the track, Brown embraced the opportunity to meet fans from across Europe, signing autographs, taking photographs and proudly showcasing Singapore to the thousands of visitors who filled the paddock throughout the weekend.

"It was incredible to experience the International Truck Grand Prix and see so many fans at the circuit," Brown added. "The atmosphere was unlike anything I've experienced this season. I really enjoyed meeting people from all over Europe, talking about Singapore and seeing how interested they were in where I come from. Hopefully I've inspired a few more people to put Singapore on their travel list."

Brown will now turn his attention to Round 5 of the ADAC GT Masters Championship at the Salzburgring in Austria from 4–6 September. The fast and unforgiving circuit will present yet another new challenge for the Singaporean as he continues his rookie GT3 campaign, aiming to build on the encouraging progress shown at the Nürburgring and convert that momentum into stronger results over the final two rounds of the season.
