ROUND 3 REPORT - FUJI
Ethan Brown Takes Podium and Valuable Lessons at Fuji Speedway
Fuji Speedway, Japan – Singaporean racer Ethan Brown continued his strong debut season in the 2025 Lamborghini Super Trofeo Asia Series, securing a podium finish in Race 1 of Round 3 at the iconic Fuji Speedway and gaining valuable experience across the weekend.
After qualifying an impressive third, Brown faced an early setback in Race 1 when a gear upshift issue at the start caused him to drop back in the field. Undeterred, he mounted a determined recovery drive, working his way up to fifth position before the pit stop window. He and co-driver Nicolas Pirttilahti then combined strong pace and a well-executed stop to bring the #27 car home in third place, marking another podium result in the competitive Pro field.
In Race 2, Pirttilahti started from pole position after a standout qualifying performance. Despite the promising grid slot, a challenging race unfolded. Brown took over for the second stint but made a mistake that saw the car fall back in the order. While disappointed to lose ground, Brown was quick to reflect on the experience as an opportunity to grow as a driver.
“It was fantastic to be back on the podium in Race 1 after the early issue, and to start Race 2 from pole was a great achievement for Nicolas and the team,” Brown said. “Unfortunately, I made an error in my stint that cost us positions, but this is all part of learning. Every lap in this championship helps me become a better driver, and I’ll take these lessons into the next round.”
Brown currently sits among the top contenders in the championship standings as the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Asia heads to Korea from 18-20 July for Round 4.
